I have a project to do and I chose scratch to be the thing I would talk about, sadly I can't answer this question for it.
if anyone knows what coding or language scratch was made in then I can hopefully complete my project.

Scratch is written in JavaScript. It uses WebGL to render the Scratch editor.

Scratch 1.x was done with Squeak.
Scratch 2.0 was done in Flash.
Scratch 3.0 was done in HTML5.

Scratch 2.0 runs on Flash; its implementation language is ActionScript.
