What is your LEAST favorite movie?
I mentioned that I didn't like Hotel Transylvania 3 earlier, but I feel like going further in-depth:
Re-hashing the first movie's themes but with monsters and humans swapping sides.
Pointless villain redemption that comes out of nowhere.
Pointless sub-plots that go nowhere.
A scene that's a ripoff of the opening of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The climax feels empty and forced.
The main characters defeat a Kracken by doing the Macarena.
The fact that there's the Macarena in a 2018 movie.
Unfunny jokes and the attempts at dry humor fall flat.
The movie KNOWS that it's a re-hash of the first one.

What is your LEAST favorite movie?
I don't think I have a least favourite movie, I only watch movies that I think I'll enjoy so I don't usually come across ones I hate. The worst ones I've seen are Smosh: The Movie (self-explanatory) and Triumph of The Will (literal Nazi propaganda, I watched it muted with Bee Movie subtitles on so I'm not sure if it counts). I really hate the 2012 Lorax movie, I guess. On its own it's a pretty lame kids movie, but as an adaptation it's one of the most insulting things I've ever seen. Honestly far worse than the live action Cat In The Hat movie, The Lorax took an anti-capitalist story and turned it into the most awful neoliberal capitalist product possible.

The fact that there's the Macarena in a 2018 movie.middle aged producers putting an ancient trend from the mid 90s into more modern stuff is the only reason why anyone i know even recognises the macarena.

We could always make a studio for this if it closes down.

i agree until that last part. scratch is not oppressing your freedom of speech, mate. your right to freedom of speech is only being violated if the state is restricting it, not the moderators of a children's programming website.Things I'm Reading and Playing are not for negative discussion. Keep the discussion positive. You can't be positive all the time. Call me “cynical” all you want, but we should be allowed to express negative feelings. Saying we can't be negative is oppressing freedom of speech.
Besides, Freedom Of Speech only applies to Political Opinions.

I'd rather see one of the characters dab than do the Macarena. The humor in the Hotel Transylvania movies already relies on dated references anyway. The fact that there's the Macarena in a 2018 movie.middle aged producers putting an ancient trend from the mid 90s into more modern stuff is the only reason why anyone i know even recognises the macarena.

Coco.
I just found it really cheesy.
I mean, why did Miguel's family ban him (and everyone else) from experiencing music altogether just because one jerk abandoned his family to achieve his music dream? With that logic, Miguel could use his family's shoe business to turn into a successful business guy and run away to New York City to become the CEO of the next Nike, would his family then ban everyone from wearing shoes? I mean, the moral is good, but I just think it was not executed very good.
Also, I believe this movie (along with all Disney Movies) forces any other movie released around the same time to bit the dust and carry Disney to their throne to get all the sweat sweat Box Office Success. I mean, I could see why this happens, I like some Disney Movies too, and Disney has a reputation of making Family-Friendly™ movies. But it would be nice to have other good non-Disney movies make a stand. In Coco's case, the movie was released 5 days after The Breadwinner (Cartoon Saloon), and the Domestic Total Gross was only about $310,000. Compare that to Coco, which made about 210 MILLION dollars in DTG (Source: Box Office Mojo). Wow, muy triste. (The Breadwinner was another animated movie realized around the same time as Coco).
TL;DR
The problem no sense, and the movie made more money than another movie.
