Post Date Display Glitch
Post Date Display Glitch
This screenshot is an Inspected-Element mockup of the glitch I saw.
This screenshot is an Inspected-Element mockup of the glitch I saw.
So recently I've discovered a minor glitch involving the display of the dates of a post. The above image shows what I mean. The post was actually made in 2019 - I saw so a couple of days later.
To prove I wasn't imagining things, somebody posted saying that the topic was made last year likely because they saw the same glitch themselves. Here is the topic if you're interested in seeing it yourself.
In summary, I saw a post whose date was incorrectly labelled for a day or two, but then fixed itself soon.
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 73.0.3683.103
☄️ Hey! I'm Flipped_. ☄️
Here, you can sit down in that chair over there. No no, that one. The other
one is reserved for my pet coelacanth.
I guess we wait now. Feel free to drink some orange juice
in the meantime.

It probably means you computer date is set wrong. Change it to the right date. I had that happen once where it said “Happening in —— minutes”

My computer's date was correct, and on top of that I haven't changed my computer's date since way before the incident, so that wouldn't explain why the date was suddenly corrected.

Not gonna report to be closed until I get a few more CNRs. It seems to be fixed.
