the human brain is not a very good computer, it has lots of unnecessary features, low processing speed, and when it fails it can fail worse than most computers in the world! The human mind.

I'm more worried about the fact that he just listed a $3000 dollar build and then said that the mobo is over-the-top.3 different cards running in parallel? I'm pretty sure that's not possible… o_o 1 Intel i7 Extreme (unknown model)
1 HIS Radeon 7870 GHz
1 EVGA GTX 690
1 MSI Radeon 7990
16 GBs of DDR3
Some over-the-top mobo, I really don't know what model, but it is manufactured by MSI once again
And a couple TBs of storage!

anyway, if we're allowed to list computers we haven't actually seen, why not use tianhe-2, the world's fastest?

You see, he doesn't run them at the same time. He OC'd the 7870 for games, and would cycle between. He would use the 7990 for BTC mining.3 different cards running in parallel? I'm pretty sure that's not possible… o_o 1 HIS Radeon 7870 GHz
1 EVGA GTX 690
1 MSI Radeon 7990
Now, he sold the 690 and 7990, and got a GTX 780 Lightning Edition, by MSI, as a gift. He decided it wasn't enough, and sold it again.
His new rig, I swear, is upwards of $10,000. It's a concept, but he is actually going to build it. It has nine monitors, four Titan Blacks, 20+ TBs of storage, and everything. The reason for building this new rig? The old one wasn't good enough.

Sorry if that scares you.
And take a look at Maingear's pc's.
They are powerful!
I have a Lenovo Y410P running dual monitors with a ViewSonic VA912B.
Chip is an Intel Haswell.
Graphics are Nvidia GeForce 750M.
My keyboard is a piece of junk.
