When I try to change my profile picture from this gif, it says ‘Maximum file size is 512 KB and less than 500x500 pixels.’
I've checked and my picture meets those requirements… but it's still not working! My browser is Chrome 73.0.3683.86.
Can someone help me?

You can use cubeupload, it's free. Make an account, upload your image, and then copy the link above the sharing link when your image is uploaded. After that, click the image button and paste the URL in.

The same thing happened to me it said the Maximum file size is 512 KB and less than 500x500 pixels.

use an image resizer for some reason i change to the same size but now scratch will accept ii recommend http://www.simpleimageresizer.com/
