Dora and the Lost City of Gold

So they're making a live-action Dora the Explorer movie. As if Detective Pikachu, Aladdin, The Lion King, Sonic, and even Mulan weren't enough. And let's not forget the amount of other sequels (The Angry Birds Movie 2, The Secret Life of Pets 2, Toy Story 4, etc.) that are in progress.

Enough said.

Also, the movie's been out for a while now, and it's gotten some good reviews. Although, nothing really amazing.

I can't help but also say that Boots is at least a little like Detective Pikachu. Not in terms of personality or anything, but in the sense that people may think he looks strange because of CGI, but they'll get used to him after a while.

Although, I won't be too upset if this topic doesn't get much attention.

I hope Swiper is in it.

And that Brad Pitt voices him.

I swear to god if those rings on the backpack are its eyes and the flap is its mouth
Also, calling it right now: The movie is an origin story. The reason Boots doesn’t have boots is because he finds them in the movie.

IIRC they never stated how old she was in the show. And maybe the main reason they said she was in high school was because most of the kids who grew up watching Dora are in high school (Or will be in high school by the time the movie comes out)

I honestly don't even know what the target age demographic (look at me use big words) is for the movie. I mean, it's based on a show for toddlers, but the movie seems to take itself more seriously and is a bit darker, like a PG-13 rated Sesame Street

He might be in the movie, but I think the plot is too different from the TV series to have him in there.

What would happen if the map was in the movie?

While the art-style is pretty lame, it might be interesting seeing all the references to the original show in a different art style.

Hey!
Numberjacks was a masterpiece. I wouldn't have known how to easily add to 10 without it.
