I feel like someone else has probably already suggested this, but I think that it would be extremely useful to right click and edit a variable (just like editing a custom block) to change its name and change if it is ‘for all sprites’ or ‘for this sprite only’ or if it is a cloud variable or not. If you know of another topic exactly like this one just link me to it so I can support.This will be very useful Support

Support for the all sprites to 1 sprite and vice versa, but not for cloud variables to regular.

Just right-click the variable in the “dropbox” if you'd call it that, and press, “Rename Variable”

To change a variable from “for this sprite” to “for all sprites”, you can actually just delete it and recreate it - no need to change all the variable blocks that use it.

To have a blank variable without a name,
1. Name a variable anything you want.
2. Show it on-screen.
3. Right click on the variable and a menu will appear.
4. Select ‘large readout’
DONE.
Select ‘normal readout’ to convert to original.

No support, in actual coding I don’t think you can change a (public?) normal variable to a private variable, even more a cloud variable.

To the OP: I find deleting the variable and recreating it very annoying when I make that mistake, so that would be a cool thing to have to avoid doing this. Support.
However, if you already used that variable in different sprites, and wish to edit it so that it's only local, I think it should restrict you from doing so (since it'd be illogical).

I support this. I very often wish to toggle “For all sprites”/“For this sprite only” for variables, and sometimes also lists.
