Size Limit
I think it would be great if the project size limit was increased. Or at least if you supplied a way to compress the project. I don't think it would be such a bad thing to increase the limit though. Having one 60mb project is no worse than having two 30mb projects.

But two 60mb projects are worse than one 60mb project…
There is no limit to the number of projects you can have, so why do you need more space per project? 50mb is a lot anyways.

It's just that I made one big project that I can't finish because of the size limit. I've done everything to compress it. My point of the two 30mb projects was that the data would have to be stored on the scratch website anyways, so it shouldn't really matter if a project is larger. Does there really even need to be a size limit at all? Or at least maybe a feature could be added where you can check the size of your project so that you can make sure you don't go over.

Server space costs money. As Scratch runs entirely on grants and donations (DON8 PL0X), you should be happy with being able to share unlimited 50mb projects.

I never thought of it that way. You're right
I'm very grateful that scratch is a free service. I'll find some way of making it work
