They shoot vines out of the ground to grab chickens, plorts and other things that strike their fancy. It's really neat to watch, but it means you can't keep free-range chickens near them.Really? That means their diet is only meat, or is it also fruits or vegetables? They shoot vines out of the ground to grab chickens, plorts and other things that strike their fancy. They are indeed carnivores, so your veggies and fruits are safe. That means their diet is only meat, or is it also fruits or vegetables? They shoot vines out of the ground to grab chickens, plorts and other things that strike their fancy. A fake Slimepedia entry that, to some extent, is true once you think about it.
After posting this, I thought about how the Tarr eats meat along with slimes and ranchers. So what would happen if you gave a Tarr a Hen Hen or a Roostro?
Pink Slimes
Diet: Everything
Contrary to popular belief, they are both the deadliest and the most helpful slimes. Their diet not only consists of fruits, vegetables, and meat, but also includes ranchers themselves, other slimes, and the Tarr.

Can you save a slime that's been grabbed by a Tarr but hasn't been eaten yet?
If you can't, they should add that into the game.

You can, but you have to be FAST. Vac up the slime, grab the Tarr and run the opposite direction of the slime you're trying to save, or splash the Tarr with water. That'll get it to let go, and then you need to distract the Tarr with a chicken or something, or else it'll just try to grab you instead. I have an idea for a Slime. It would be called the Bumble Slime. It would look like a Phosphor Slime except it has black and yellow stripes and a stinger instead of glowing. It would be passive unless bothered, like real-world bees. Its diet would be made of fruit and Honey Plorts. Like the Puddle Slime, it cannot be turned into a Largo.

The Honey Slime is different, but still seems a little too similar to your idea. There could be another animal slime, like maybe a dog that could be called a Woof Slime. I have an idea for a Slime. Recently, I started a brand new file and deleted my old one.
Sometimes it's nice to just push reset on a Sandbox game.

I like that idea! I think they could also perhaps be found in a sort of “hive” that can be accessed with teleporters. I have an idea for a Slime. It would be called the Bumble Slime. In the Moss Blanket, if you turn right instead of left at the first small pond, you'll see a Slime Gate. Unlock that, and then from there, unlock the big gate by plugging plorts into their respective slime statues (found all around the big gate), and then go through. Make your way through the ruins, activate the big teleporter, go through and then BOOM! Glass Desert! How do you unlock the Glass Desert?
