Text-to-Speech / Translate Blocks - Assistance Needed ♡

Hey!

I'm Yelloh, and I need some assistance. I'm making a PoP* shop, and I have a sprite that is a design of me, because it is representing the shop owner. I decided that since there's a text to speech block now, I would make the character talk! I was looking at the extensions to find the text-to-speech blocks, and saw the translation extension while I was there. I figured it would give my shop a nice touch if everyone could use it, despite not speaking english. That gave me the great idea of mixing the two extensions that I've mentioned to create all the above aspects. I made a code that looked like below, but it didn't work out, so I need some pointers!

*Palace of Points

If you know how to do this yet, please help me out!

I'm not sure what the issue is. I'm not used to working with those blocks, either, so maybe I'm missing something obvious.

The problem is that I can't get it to translate into the users language. I knew it was rare i would even get and assistance, as almost nobody is that skilled with 3.0 yet, especially with the new blocks.

Your code looks fine.

I tried it in the Scratch Editor and it worked.

Using the White Globe at the top left of the Scratch Editor, I changed the language to Espanol (Spanish).
I then ran the code. It said “Hola” as expected.
Then, using the White Globe, I changed the language to Francais (French).
I then ran the code. It said “Bonjour” as expected.

I then changed the language back to English.

Oh, after a while of trial and error, i realized that i had just tested it with a language that isn't in text to speech yet. Thanks for the help!
