NEW EPIC STUFF YOU HAVE TO READ

ok so this is really getting annoying, if a block is hiding this doesn't work
if <mouse down?> then
if <touching [ v]?> then

end

end

end

so you have to do all that using the <> signs. pls fix, this will save ME SO MUCH TIME!!!!!!!! oh and pls reply

What's wrong with using this?:
when this sprite clicked
No support due to the obvious workaround.

Also, please give more descriptive topic subjects…

If you're wanting to do drag-n-drop, I'd definitely recommend using the “when clicked” hat block, as suggested above, rather than the “mouse down and touching pointer” combo.

For a demo script you can use, and several reasons why it's better (in notes) see this project:

(And, yeah, worth making your topic title into something that relates to the content - I nearly ignored it thinking it was probably just some spambot got onto forums again…)

sorry i just wanted to make it look good so people could read it, i did think it was quite a good idea my suggestion, i didn't think of the when this sprite is clicked block. i just wanted the scratch team to see it, it would make mine so much easier
