I have been a Scratcher for a while now but I still don't know what a studio is and how do I use/join one. Could you please help me?

A studio is a place where you can put projects. You might want to do this if you want to show a group of projects about something like getting used to Scratch 2.0 although it can be anything. Studios used to be called galleries.

Some studios allow anyone to add projects while some have to invite you to be a curator before you can add projects. Being a curator also allows you to delete projects, add/delete curators (except the owner), change the studio description and change the picture.

To make a studio go to your “My Stuff” and click the button “New Studio” in the top right hand corner.

Either add your projects to the studio, or press the follow button just like you would for a person.

You can also ask to be a curator.
I asked this question when I first joined Scratch.

It seems like you have used the 1.4 website. Then a studio is basically a re-name of a Gallery

To start your own studio click first sign in then click on your name on the top blue bar and on the dropdown menu go to my stuff. There you will find on the top right a bar that says +create new studio. Click that and you have one. Then when you access it you can add any of your own shared projects by cli8cking the bar on the bottom and there is a tab on that bar to switch to projects you have favorited and projects you have recently viewed and you can add them. Also when exploring games above comments there is an option after favorite and love to add that game to a studio that you own or curate. That way you don't have to make a studio where anyone can add stuff, you can select what projects you want to add yourself.
