Pretty much self-explanatory. When there are too many categories, they start to become hidden.

The extensions button is covering some of the extension categories, and it would be inconvenient to use the scrollbar for the blocks to scroll all the way down to the categories that are hidden. If you get confused, this suggestion is suggesting a scrollbar for the category buttons, not the block menu.

Support, I don't think some categories should be hidden and this is a problem.

You can just scroll through the categories.
Just hover over the block categories and scroll down.

But you can't (unless you're using a computer with a trackpad (or you're just using a laptop) AND you've got trackpad scrolling functionality enabled in your mouse drivers, which is unlikely unless you're using a PC with a trackpad plugged in and it's running Mac OS)

Just because you're using a computer that has 1. a trackpad, and 2. has the correct drivers, runs Mac OS or runs Chrome OS, doesn't mean other people do. Please make sure to research before posting, thank you.

Actually, just thinking about it, you can use the scroll wheel if you don't use a trackpad. So this is already implemented.

So you still should be able to scroll then if your PC is set up correctly.

It's not hard to figure out. On a PC, you just scroll the scrollwheel. On a trackpad you do a scrolling gesture (depends on manufacturer what you exactly do). It's basic computer knowledge.
And there isn't any reason why someone didn't want to scroll. All I can really imagine is “I don't want to scroll because I don't like the scroll wheel on my mouse because I think it is very scary and it was really mean to me D:” so I'm obviously misunderstanding you here

If someone doesn't want to scroll, then they can just use the scrollbar I'm suggesting because there is one for the block menu…
