So I was working on a clicker game. I made sure to hit save before I left when I did, and then closed the window. When I came back all of the scripts in a sprite and more wasn't there, as if I hadn't saved it. I don't have much to say because its pretty straight forward, it wouldn't save.

My project's scripts disappeared, but everything still functions normally. This project is for school and it is due by the end of class tomorrow!

This happened on a Chromebook and there are no error messages.

When I play the project from inside the code, it functions differently, but it works fine when I view it without looking inside the project.

Hello Scratch community,

I made this game with Scratch 2.0, where I had a music loop, which evolved depending on the stage you reach.
Intro is only drums, synth comes in with the game story + rules, then changes in rhythm with the different levels
It used to work fine, but I can't really understand why since Scratch 3.0, there's a little delay on each change of pattern end of loop, that's upsetting…
Anyone has an idea of why and/or an alternative I could use ?

Description / other details of the behavior you see:
The music loop is coded in the background sprite, under the block name “launch_sound_garden” (!!)
Depending on the value of the variable “Le Niveau”, it would play a different pattern and change in rhythm (the pattern all have the same length or twice the length, to make this possible)
Please help me fix my sound garden Let me know if you need more details.

Edit : I'm thinking, is it possible that somehow, I would have to pre-load all the patterns first, then do my loop… ?

Edit 2 : I tried to pre-load a sound by playing it once before starting the game, didn't help, the delay is still there.
Also checked the sounds length too, seems good to me.
Finally, I tried to tick the “run without screen refresh”, with not much hope as it's not a graphics issue. Indeed, it did nothing.

Hi, my coming out project (which is ironically not working) is 100% saved and working on the inside of the project, but when you load the link for the first time or look into the editor for the first time it says “oops, something went wrong”. I think this has been happening for 3-4 days.

Another save issue with another project, was that once I had designed the sprites and put in music and code, I saved it and it would continually not save. This project ending up deleting itself and returning to the form when you create a new project. I redid it, so I don't have a link, but that was an issue for some time.

It would be helpful if some of these issues could be resolved, but I understand that since there are so many bugs and issues, they might not be.

I used to work on a computer on 2.0, but now I started using 3.0 on an IPad and none of the blocks load.

HI! I have been trying to code projects, but for some reason they just won't work! I don't know why, it doesn't display anything, but scripts that were working in 2.0 don't work anymore! They are normal scripts, just saying to forever; if not touching colour black; repeat until touching colour black; change y by Gravity. Other times the program just glitches and the project I have been working on for weeks is now unusable because the codes have gone wacko. I have an HP Windows 10 notebook pavilion thingy, which scratch usually works on, I use the latest version of chrome, and no messages come up my project just won't work anymore. It is really annoying. I think the problem might be over-complication of scripts/projects? It seems that whenever I start getting complicated in scripting, it starts not working. I don't know. Please try to fix it, as I currently can't code anything.

Projects which were previously failing to load with an error of “Oops, something went wrong!” followed by a very long error id are in the process of being fixed. Many of these projects are already working, and those that aren't should be within the next few days. This was being caused by sounds or images which failed to properly save to our servers before the editor was closed. We have fixed projects in this state by replacing the missing images or sounds with a “?” image so the projects can load. The problem which was causing projects to get saved in this state has been fixed. We’re sorry for the loss of images and sounds that come with this, in nearly all cases it is a single image or sound within the project that has been replaced.

On every single one of my Undertale battle projects, it loads and functions properly, all except for the ability to move the heart icon, I dont know why, please add the ability to switch back to 2.0 at any time

that sometimes happened to me

So i'm working on a project and i'm trying to fill 1 of the charachters and after about 15 secs it freezes the sprite on the stage changes but not the sprite on the art panel, and when i go to the code then come back, the sprite on the art panel is GONE!! Never had this problem
