(I am NOT Scratch Staff btw) I'm sorry your friend got the account blocked, but the thing is that accounts are not meant to be shared. If someone else does something blockable on the account, you have to take responsibility. Also, the reason the new accounts tab is disabled is so you cannot just make new accounts to get around the block. I'm not a Scratch Team member, but I do have experience with website moderating on Wikia.

a way to get around the new account block is to delete all your website cookies for scratch (only deletes account history, nothing else)

it looks better in the editor…
basically you put this:

(item ( v) of [list v] :: list)

in this:

<key [ v] pressed?>

and you name the list item what key has to be pressed. and about things you cannot correctly type in a list item, for arrow keys, name the list item “(direction) arrow”, and for spacebar, name it “space”
