How often are the activity checks gonna be?
We can’t say. You just have to be active to check.

So I have some suggestions.

  • I've been doing all the orders, even the ones that aren't in my department. And I can't do this every week. Think about it. I run three shops, I'm vice pres of this shop, I work in at least two other shops, I run ShopCard, I run a newspaper, I work in two collabs and have one of my own, and I have another account and I'm TRYING to do an animation but I keep having to do orders here, because the other staff won't do them. It's not that they're inactive, it's that they're incapable of doing these orders. So my suggestion is to be way more picky when choosing our dudes. I think that we should give them a test order that's way out of their comfort zone. We need to set the bar high, otherwise, what just happened will happen and this shop will completely fail. Even though we need staff, we don't want bad staff.
  • For those who can't quite meet our standards, I suggest we create a tuition studio. We can have an art teacher (which includes sprite art, background art, banners, and anything else art-y) and coding teacher, and any other departments that are necassary. The teachers will give the students assignments to help them get better; and hopefully, soon meet the bar.
  • I think we need to be more strict about not responding to the activity check. I think that if you're on the board of directors, or a leader in a department, and you don't respond ONCE, you should lose your job and be put in a lower level, such as helper.

I just made these suggestions because I feel that they will help this shop, and even tho we're low on staff, I think that we can probably manage. Oh, and I almost forgot. One more suggestion.
  • I propose to make the job of a marketing officer. The marketing officer would post the unclaimed orders in the studio and bump the shop, and apply for ads in newspapers. Right now Captain R is doing this job, but since he's the pres he should get someone else to do it.
I agree with all these suggestions. Can you let me know on my profile when you would be free to discuss more about these. If you’re busy I can wait. What I’m going to do now is,
1) Make an account to have the tests and studios on it. (I’ll order a logo from here later)
2) Set-up the studio for trainees.
3) Make the test. (I may need some help with this one).
4) Send all employees the test. If they pass they get the job. If not, they can go into the trainee studio. Thanks for these ideas. They will make our shop a better place for both staff and customers.

(Also, I need another banner. I’ll make oneon cams and of it doesn’t work, I’ll order one).

OK. Sounds good. If you want, I'll make you a banner. For the test, I was thinking something like this. So say that this was the application:

Thanks for applying! Before we hire you, we're going to need to give you a small test to see if you're worthy of working here. Complete this order and submit it here or at the tuition studio.

What department: Background art
Description: I would like a birds-eye view of a city with a road and lots of cars and buildings.

So that would be for background art. Maybe for coding, you would do something like this:
What department: Coding
Description: I would like a custom block that will make my sprite jump up and gravity will pull them down when the up arrow key is pressed.

Or maybe you could do something else. I dunno.

As for the tuition studio, I can teach art, if you want. that way you'll have a teacher for now, and if someone else applies, just give them the job. Please invite me to the studio

It's not. Just go to canva.com and you know sign in with google or whatever. Then click the search and type ‘soundcloud banner’. Then go to ‘backdrops’ choose your backdrop then go to ‘text’ then choose your fonts and type in whatever. Then go to ‘elements’ and search for something you want on your banner, find a free one (unless you want a watermark) and save. Then upload it to cubupload or tinypic or imageshack or something. Then copy the link address and post it here.
