I liked 2.0, and am currently preferring its browser and interface. Is there a way to go back for online? You can also try and get scratch 2.0 offline for Chromebook, not only 3.0 offline. Some things that are not my favorite:
you have to extra install some block libraries, and it just is an extra tab, though in 2.0 they are with other tabs.
I also find it greatly harder to navigate through almost everything.

The workspace itself is smaller and blocked by block tabs, as well as the blocks are unnecessarily taller and bigger. (I had this project with long scripts, and it would fit, and now, the only way that it fits is that you zoom out so much that you can't read the words!)
