What do you hate about it?
If you just don’t like that it’s different, I promise you’ll get used to it soon

It is just because it looks flat and bland. No offence if you like it.

If you don't like 3.0, you can download the 2.0 offline editor and continue using 2.0.

I HATE SCRATCH 3.0

The only problem I have is the backpack is broken for me and big projects never load. So I didn’t get to see Dhilly’s last 2.0 project.

It may be because I'm older but I find the whole screen a bit too bright and harder to read - to the extent I really find it hard to use. Is there any way to apply skins to the overall appearance? Is it possible to change the fonts Scratch is using within the blocks?

Most other changes I'm sure I can get used to but basic usability is fairly fundamental. I can't believe I'm the only one though and that this hasn't come up in testing.

The colours are are definitely a bit bright (especially events) and there are a few other things that bug me, overall I think 3.0 has a pretty nice design. Thankfully there's meant to be a dark mode coming so that should help a bit. With time a lot of problems should hopefully get fixed, or at least options added.

I think so too.

Please don't blockspam.

If you just dislike the new UI, you can still download the 2.0 offline editor I believe.

Thanks to @powercon5 and @147275 for your comments. I've opened a new thread rather than have my thoughts here in someone else's thread - https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/329383/

I think the switch to a white background for scripting is at least part of the problem.

Telling us you hate everything and just want Scratch 2.0 back is not constructive or helpful. If you have any specific suggestions about how Scratch 3.0 can be improved, please visit the Suggestions forum.
