How can I change the pivot point of a rotating sprite ?

Go into the costume editor and re-center the sprite. Use the button in the top-right that looks like a plus sign, and put the center of the crosshairs onto the point that you want to be the pivot point.

Some folks have noted that Scratch 3.0 currently does not have this tool in the editor. I suspect it is something that they will add in the weeks following the release date, if not sometime before.

1. Take Scratch 2 to edit the pivot point of a rotating sprite.
2. Export the edited sprite to your local computer.
3. Import to Scratch 3 and have fun.

Now is there a way to pivot an object.

Hello, welcome to scratch. This topic is over a year old and by posting on it you brought it to the front page. It's called “necroposting” and people don't like it, please be more careful in the future!

Also, it's much different now to pivot. Now you have to move the sprite manually. But it's still the same principle.
