Why isn't FNaF allowed on Scratch? It's a kids game.

Dude the dress up game reference was probably directed to a thing my friend made that I helped her with on my old account. lol

I remember back when FNAF 4 was rated Kid by Google. It unfortunately wasn't supposed to be rated Kid. However, you can make Fnaf fan games that follow the rules of Scratch.

About cleaning the place up, that is only if there is any kind of gore, such as bloodstains. Other than that, why not add moss to the wall?

Five Nights At Freddy's isn't that scary. I've seen much gorier things on Scratch than FNaF. Whoever banned it it must've never played it, it's just jumpscares.
Y'all keep saying that FNaF is too scary, but I've seen Happy Tree Friends on this, which is GORY and HECCIN WAY MORE INAPPROPRIATE THAN FNaF

Happy Tree Friends is definitely pretty gory. If you see any gory pictures of Happy Tree Friends, then report the project.

However, a non-gory picture of a Happy Tree Friends character is okay, just like how a non-gory, non-scary picture of Freddy Fazbear is okay.

The conclusion we've come to at this point is basically

fnaf world = ok

that boot image = no

so does anyone have anything to add?

Be a good internet citizen. Report it. Move on.

The only reason why FNAF was specifically targeted was because it was especially popular on Scratch and many parents were having problems with that. Therefore, many projects were removed for this reason.
That doesn't mean that other projects that are especially more inappropriate than FNAF are prohibited from being posted, however. Would breaking a given speed limit at least over 10 kilometers an hour be prohibited but at 20 kph and over not?
In other words, if something is more inappropriate than FNAF, it's very likely not allowed on scratch.

what is your problem. It's MA-15+ meaning if you aren't 15 it's against the law to play it.

Playing games above your age rating isn't breaking the law.

Do you realize how many ten-year-olds play call of duty?

The ESRB is a terrible company anyways

The “MA15+” rating system that lucastue400 is referring to is used in the Australian Classification Board, which states that anyone under the age of 15 viewing content of that rating would have to be supervised by a parent/guardian otherwise they would be breaking the law.

Also, I suggest having a look at the date of the last post when posting on the QaS forum, since posting on an old, resolved or dead topic on a topic in Questions and Scratch is considered a Necropost.

Good point. I think the question has been sufficiently answered. Those who don't think so can review the official policy.

Closed as resolved.
