Final Scratch 2.0 Chess Engine Tournament - December 2018
This is the final Scratch 2.0 Chess Engine Tournament, as Scratch 3.0 will go live on January 2nd, 2019. All engines running on Scratch 2.0. Bonsai on level Green Belt, Game of Kings on level Difficult (45 / 25 sec think time mode). For The Turk to be able to play white against Midecah, I will feed it with an “inverse” FEN board.

yes, this tournament pretty much confirmed the results of the previous months. It will be interesting to see how relative playing strength develops on Scratch 3.0. At least for Game of Kings this depends on the performance of the underlying Scratch runtime. I had to adjust two things due to Scratch 3.0 performance bottlenecks, now GoK is at the same level as on Scratch 2.0, or slightly better.

Thank you, Bonsai did well again too! Let's see what Scratch 3.0 will bring. I just noticed that Midecah Chess finally works there.
