WORKING DRAFT

Welcome to the Scratch 3.0 Beta change log. The purpose of this thread is to document all new revisions to Scratch 3.0 since this forum was begun.s

New Features:

• Direction and rotation style widget

• Turbo mode menu item

• Dragging sprites now brings them to the front (like Scratch 2)

• Improvements to the way bitmap select works (no longer removes it from the costume when moving a selection)

• Scratch3 downloaded files maintain layer ordering

Bug Fixes:

• Bitmap select tool no longer deletes the selection when selecting outside the canvas bounds on Safari

• Fix for unreachable costumes/sounds at the bottom of a long list

• Fix for sprite tiles disappearing after changing zoom level/resizing the window

• Fix issue where you were able to undo back to other sprites code on the workspace after switching sprites

• Fix issue where sharing blocks multiple times could cause a crash

• Sprites now import from scratch 2 in the correct layer order and sprite-selector order.

Resume: Hello! I'm jakel181, and I have been on scratch for over three years! My writing skills are not the best but I'm willing to learn and grow. I know various different languages (Programming and Spoken/Signed) including but not only English, Greman, ASL, Python, PHP, CSS, HTML*1, and Java. I have taught scratch classes before and am going to teach another scratch class @jakel181_teacher. I have been a wiki editor for almost two years on the English wiki and 6 months on the Greman wiki, and I run Compliment Tuesday on the English scratch wiki. On scratch, I have been around for over three years, have over a 1000 posts on the forums run the SDS Translations program, am an SWC curator have been an SDS helper for numerous SDS's and currently an SDS curator.

6.0 was barely updated, so Epic_TV created 7.0. In May he left (well, he hasn't been on since then) so IDK why everyone is leaving, but yeah

Well I see that you created entirely new banners. People had been taking mine since 2.0 (although to be fair I gave them to Drunken for 6.0)
