Hi folks!

On January 2nd we are launching Scratch 3.0! As part of the launch, the Scratch website (scratch.mit.edu) will be put into “maintenance mode” and will be unavailable starting at 7am EST. Once the site comes back online later that day, 3.0 will be officially launched!

We wanted to give you advance notice in case you would like to download the offline editor for use during this time. You can do so here: https://scratch.mit.edu/download

I started scratch when Scratch 2.0 existed so I hope my old animations are completely broken because of outdated things. That's the only thing i'm worried about when 3.0 comes.
