Dear Scratch Team, if you are reading this you are wondering, Why have we not done this. ScratchCon is a ONCE a year meet and greet with all the scratchers. For example, @harpern1113 , @myderpyness , @XxDarkCatxX , etc. Just think, Scratchers from around the world would come to this, you would be able to meet you guys ( the scratch team ) Our followers! And friends! ( some of us have friends that moved away and we keep in touch on here! ) So, scratch team, I want you guys to think, think about us, think about you, think about the program. Hey Guys! This is my first post and scratchcon sounds AWESOME!!! It should TOTALLY be a thing in Scratch 3.0!!!!

In scratch 3.0 I wonder if they will include scratchcon in it for everyone to see. But should scratch 3.0 be a good thing? I mean…. TONS of people are protesting and making a rebellion against it, and it's kinda making me aware how this will affect the community. I checked out the beta version, and the stuff was WAY different!mall of the stuff was in weird places… It's like you're new to scratch again! We'll have to get used to the stuff ALL OVER AGAIN! Maybe we SHOULD protest because SCRATCH HAS MADE A MISTAKE FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! But, then again… You have MORE BLOCK OPTIONS in the new beta version, so maybe it's NOT a mistake.

Ehh, no support.

1. Convention tickets are usually very expensive. I know for a fact that VidCon tickets are around $115, and that's for the early bird price. I don't really think people will shell out that much money to go to ScratchCon unless there's some big event or something that will draw crowds.

2. As I stated before, you wonder why convention tickets are very expensive? It's because the cost of holding a convention is very high. You not only have to pay for the venue, but also the decorations, coding stations, (I assume) and the event, among other things.

So, no support. I also think that ScratchCon will never happen unless the ST get some huge kind of funding boost or crowdfunding campaign.

Sorry if I'm overthinking this in some way, I sometimes like to overanalyze stuff.
