Flash shockwave crashing
I keep getting a crash in Chrome. I read that HTML5(?) is better than Flash. How do you change it?

Flash shockwave crashing
For now your best bet is probably to just wait a few weeks. Scratch 3.0 will be released on January 2nd, and it is programmed with HTML5, so it should hopefully crash less than 2.0 for you. I keep getting a crash in Chrome. I read that HTML5(?) is better than Flash. How do you change it?
Edit: You can start using it now at https://beta.scratch.mit.edu/, though. It doesn't have all the features like Backpack and sharing projects, but those will be here when 3.0 is released. (It'll replace the 2.0 editor, so clicking “create” will bring you to 3.0 instead of 2.0. You can still download 2.0 if you'd prefer to use it though, and the download will stay up for as long as possible, even after 3.0 is released.)

So I guess you're saying Scratch only uses Flash until the new Scratch comes out. I will take up the new version as late as possible, as all my course materials are designed for 2.0.
