Signatures are the subjects of many new topics in this forum. How do you change them? How to you add colored text? How do you add an image? I’m here to give you some more info on forum signatures. Let’s get started!


How to make/set your signature:
Go to the bottom of the main forum page, on the left hand side there should be a button labeled ‘Change your signature’.



Click that, and you should see a text box just like if you were posting in the forums. Change it the way you want(following the Community Guidelines), and click submit.

How to add colored text:
Insert this before the text you want coloured: [color=#HexeDeciCol], and this after: [/color]. For instance, [color=#FF0000]This text is red and has been read.[/color] (HexaDeciCol=HexaDecimal Color)
You can also do this: [color=orange]This text is orange.[/color]

How to add an image:
First, you need to find an image host. I highly suggest cubeupload.com, I haven’t had any problems with them.
Second, upload your image to the host, and find the URL of your image. (Usually they provide it underneath the image) Make sure that it is a direct link, and NOT a sharing link! Copy the link, CTRL+C, then proceed to the next step.
Third, go to the editing box, and click the image button. (Looks like a picture of a tree.) When it asks you for the URL of your image, paste in the URL you copied earlier.(CRTL+V) Click OK, and you should see the URL of your image with a [img] tag on either side. Try pressing the preview button(Green Checkmark) to see if your image works.

How to make a quote:
You can use the quote button(Person with a speech bubble), or manually make a quote.
When you click the quote button, this will be inserted: [quote][/quote] But that will only put text in a quote box, without the person who said it add the top. If you want it to say who you are quoting, you will need to put this in: [quote=Scratcher]Quote goes here[/quote]

How to make a link to your profile:
Copy the URL of your profile (CTRL+C), then go to the editing box. Click the link button(the chain), and paste in the URL. (CTRL+V). The url tags will then appear formatted correctly(if you don’t change the actual tags). Change “Your text goes here…” to whatever text you want. (i.e. My Profile!)

Link in an image:
Simply put the image as the text of the link, like so:

How to make big or small text:
To change the size of your text, you need to put your text between one pair of one of these tags: [big][/big] or [small][/small]

Other Formatting Tools:
You can use all of the tools you would use in a forum topic, such as bold, italic, and underline. You can find these and other formatting tools in the formatting bar. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask them!

Things to remember:
Remember to always follow the Community Guidelines while making your signature.
If your tags don’t seem to work, check that you spelled them correctly, used the correct braces, and included the ‘/’ at the beginning of the end tag.
Previewing helps! Click that green checkmark button to see what your post would look like.

If you don't want to make an account you can use Scratch s an image host. Here's a tutorial on how to do it.
