Big pixel art .png files in Scratch.
So I've been working on this Scratch RPG game and I've been making some full-map-sized pixel art. Problem is, when I import it to Scratch Scratch distorts the pixels and it looks really bad. Anyone's got an idea for a fix?

Unfortunately it still does the same thing, but thanks for the offer. You could set a blank costume to vector, and import the file.
Hope this helps!

What do you mean by distorts? I think it crops any imported bitmap images to 480x360 but, other than that, I've not seen any actual distortions of images.

I mean, yeah, that's basically what it does, it crops it to fit the screen. But from obvious reasons, even when I set the sprite to 200% of the cropped size, it keeps the resolution the same. I sorta came up with a fix where I cut the map to 4 parts in a different program and then piece it together in vector mode, but causes a few problems specific to my other scripts. So I've been working on this Scratch RPG game and I've been making some full-map-sized pixel art.
