She was responsible for caring for the children who had ‘powers and deformities’ that were deemed insufficient to Hogwarts. He was born half wizard, half ymbryne. The children she raised, or kept, rather, for reasons to be explained, were called ‘peculiars.’ She, nor the children, ever aged, and the reason for this was a loop. Alma LeFay Peregrine's loop was created on September 3rd, 1940. And every day, they relived September 3rd, 1940. This was because of the capability Alma had. You see, a loop is an occurrence which only a ymbryne can conduct where a past date (such as September 3, 1940) exists and repeats itself over and over, though the experience of it by those who are peculiar differentiates. Therefore, they never aged. The children remained children and were safe from the outside world; Ajaxi helped to raise them until he left. Now, today, he is here.

2) I'd rather have original characters. I would allow minor canon characters like Peeves, ghosts, Mrs. Norris, Filch, Madam Pomfrey, Madam Pince, or other minor staff.

Other than that, yes I would likely allow an OC that isn't a student, character, or ghost within reason.
