Support. I also wondered if they could replace that block. It would be better with the block you suggested.

You should put “Water” in your signature instead of writing it on every post.
Edit: here's an iTopic explaining signatures.
Um, how do I even know if “Water” is actually supposed to be part of the signature or not? The user might have put it there in the post purposely.
Because water is completely unrelated to this topic.
But then did the user put that same word in the rest of his/her posts?
Because of Sigton?

How do we know which year is a leap year and which one is not? Sure, a leap year is every four years, but then see what confusion we have?

Even if we know the leap years and the fact that a leap year happens every 4 years after another leap year, I know it will be still difficult to detect.
Here's an easy way of remembering it: Leap years happen every year the Euros happen (European soccer tournament).

Well that only helps if you're a soccer fan but I can't think of an easy way to remember leap years other than that lol.

BIG FACTS:
Last 5 leap years:
2016
2012
2008
2004
2001
Here's a little useful script for reference:
if <((current [year v]) mod (4)) = (0)> then
if <((current [year v]) mod (400))= (0)> then
set [leap year? v] to [true]
else
set [leap year? v] to [false]
end
else
set [leap year? v] to [false]
end

They were signing their post, nothing more really…

What should it do if you give it a leap day?

…count 59 days + whatever month and year stuff.

Support.
Many workarounds include many confusing blocks that New Scratchers won't understand, and some are so complicated it causes lag and unwanted delays for the project.

Mostly Support, but I don't support the part that says anything after the current year won't work. Even if it's the same year you could still choose a future month and/or day and then it would still give a negative number, and even if you fixed that part I still wouldn't like it because days since the future is always a great and/or fascinating concept

Also you don't even need drop-downs, you could work around the drop-down limitations with an operators reporter in its place anyway :P (Edit: it'll only work with the new 3.0 round drop-downs and not the new 3.0 square drop-downs. I don't make projects anymore so I didn't explore 3.0 very much..) But and/or so because of this workaround I think the drop-downs should stay :P

You can already do that with the days since 2000 block.

Personally, I find the “”flaws“” with the days since 2000 blocks mere abstractions of the perfection it has, and that it makes using it more fun and enjoyable, but I guess other people matter too.

Semi-support,
This will be useful for your project but I don't think it is absolutely necessary now.

Please tell why you support; It gives the ST another reason to add this (Or not add it).

Well, support countdowns will be possible now, but what if you entered

There is a workaround with the days since 2000 and the adding and subtracting block

I got an idea.
(([floor v] of (days since 2000)) - (([floor v] of (days since 2000)) - (How many days its been))
Its not exact, but it does give you how many days its been
