Anyone still here…? I've gotten back into the game (thanks, CS+ on Switch) and even managed to grab the Best Ending
Highly hoping people still care about this game

I got CS+ on steam, I'm stuck on Monster X in hard mode. I'm going for true ending, I've done the true ending in the other difficulties.

As of right now, i'm on the Last Cave (Hidden). Any tips on how not to go from 50 HP to 2 in 5 minutes?

Wow, a dead thread. Anyways, here are some fun facts:

- There is a PSP port. It's basically just Freeware with Aeon Genesis translation, but in WIDE SCREEN. Cave Story + without the upgraded graphics, basically. Some punctuation in dialog is missing, though. The prices we pay for widescreen freeware
- There is also a PS1 port, it uses CSE2.
- The “Robot Hat” item from Terraria is based on Quote's hat, even featuring his antenna!
- Nicalis has only made one piece of merch on their shop, not counting limited-time offers like the SNES poster, Machine Gun thumbdrive, and coaster, is an Eggfish keychain. It's part of “Series A” or “Series 1”, I don't remember. Funny, because Eggfish is described as “Only one.” in the credits roll, and Eggfish is the “Only one.” to have a keychain.
- Nicalis has cancelled many merchandise concepts, like some figurines, some more POP!-styled figurines, and even a Balrog stress ball. What ARE they doing???
- There is a speedrun category called “Spike%” where your goal is to make Quote run into spikes. I wonder if there's a Curly Brace version for CS+?
- NXEngine has been ported to the Sega Dreamcast, and even the Nintendo GameCube. Lots of ports exist, but when is the Cave Story cotton candy machine port?
