Does anybody else remember when you actually had to EARN World Keys before EA just said “Screw it! Here, have all of the world keys!”. That surprised me because due to their reputation, they'd most likely put World Keys up for sale as in-app purchases, not just give them out for free as an update!

I actually preferred it when we had to earn them because then noobs couldn’t unlock modern world

I started playing PVZ and PVZ 2 after that patch came out. You probably had to beat at least the first Zomboss encounter.

why does sea-shroom exist

The only practical use it has if someone wanted to beat a pool level without using Lilly Pads.

Even then you can play a Day level and use Threepeater or Starfruit or something similar and get an achievement for it

Not gonna lie, I hate World 4 in Plants VS Zombies.
The plants you get are bad or become useless after two or three levels, the pool adds too much to handle at once, and the enemies introduced here are the worst.

You're right. Also, sea-shrooms should recharge faster. Especially because they are free and the same thing as a puff-shroom.

To be completely honest even if sea-shrooms had fast recharge I still wouldn't use them because they just take up a seed slot

the only good plants you get in the Fog levels are Blover and Pumpkin tbh (sea shroom i've already expressed my dislike for multiple times, plantern is worse than blover, cactus is worse than blover, split pea's just a counter for miners, starfruit is bad and magnet shroom i've already said why i'm not a fan)
also have to agree with you about the enemies, jack-in-the-boxes can be super frustrating, miners and balloons are just there to force you to use blover / cactus (lolno) / cattail or split pea / starfruit (lolno) and then nobody likes pogos
(also the Fog music is probably the weakest track in the game imo)

yes it shoots 5 projectiles for 125 cost but unless you're spamming it everywhere the fact that it fires in such random directions makes it bad in my opinion

Excluded Plants- Upgrade Plants (I haven't gotten all of them yet or a chance to use some of them), Sun Flowers and Sun-Shrooms, Spikeweeds, Grave-Busters, Planterns, Blovers, Lily Pads, Coffee Beas, Plant Pots, and Marigolds. (So, Situational Plants and Resource-Producing Ones)

Best:
Repeater, Squash, Doom Shroom. Cherry Bomb, Tall-Nut, Pumpkin, Mellon-Pult, and Cabbage-Pult.

Good:
Peashooter, Snow-Pea, Wall-Nut, ThreePeater, Potato Mine, Kernel-Pult, Puff-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom, Fume Shroom, Tangle-Kelp, Torchwood, Umbrella Leaf, and Jalapeño.

Mediocre:
Chomper, Hypno-Shroom, Ice-Shroom, Garlic, and Magnet-Shroom.

Bad:
Cactus, Split Pea, Sea-Shroom, and Starfruit.

Also, now, in the original PvZ (for iOS), all of the minigame packs cost 50,000, and the puzzle packs cost 150,000. You only start with 20,000, which is barely enough to buy Zombotany, the pool and roof cleaners, 7 and 8 seed packs, the extra plants, and I think some more that I missed. (In other words, just the basics.) I know of a few efficient ways to grind, but right now, I'm more focused on completing Adventure Mode.
