What's going on with my signature and Spam Numbers?
2 questions,
1: Why is my signature like this? It has “end” and everything…
2. Why do people put random numbers to avoid spam? Why does that work?

What's going on with my signature and Spam Numbers?
In 1's case, my code doesn't finish in my signature. It just kind of cuts off. In 2's case, i've seen posts like this: Could you explain what you mean?
“I'm switching my character to the user @validusername (Spam Number: 9”
or
“ (insert link here) Here's the CC results! Random number: 7”

To explain the first, the signature gets cut off after some lines to avoid spammy signatures that will be too long.

1. It's because your signature is to long. After a certain point scratch prevents the rest of a signature from being shown in order to prevent people from having huge signatures that make the forum hard to navigate.
2. It's because they are trying to say the same thing to a lot of people. Scratch's filter stops you from posting the exact same thing multiple times in a row so people put random numbers to avoid it. It works because computers aren't perfect and the software only detects the same comment being posted again, not slight changes to the same comment.

I'm a major fan of Pokemon, Undertale and the Pija and Toast series.

end
