SkyOS!

SkyOS is a wonderful OS, that I would appreciate if you would give feedback on.


It's current version is Beta 1.5.2.

From 1.1:

-A game.

-Music works now
-More Music in a upcoming update

-You can change wallpapers

From 1.2:
-A Video Button
-1 video right now, more in 1.2.x updates.

-A Web Browser

1.3:
-UI changes

-A new app.

1.4:
-App store

1.5:
-More Music

-Web Browser works.

1.6:
-Settings has been redone, with 5 backdrops.

-The 5 backdrops are Flowers (old default), Lake, Beach, PewDiePie (default), and Desert.

-Added SMC Art website

-Internal changes to engine

There is not a 1.7 build yet, but it will come June.

About 1.2

1.2 will hopefully come out on August 31st.

I will not make a whole new project for 1.2, it will be at the project where 1.1.2 is at.

1.1.3 will import 1.2 stuff.

What about 1.3?

I really want to add more than 2-4 apps per major update so..

1.3 or 1.4 will add an app store.

1.3 will most likely be UI changes.

I plan to merge the Info App with Settings,
Move the game off the home bar, and other UI changes.

Only 1 new app will be added most likely.

After 1.3 build 1(builds will return.), I will release a test API for the App store to develop SkyOS Apps.
App store may be added, I don't know.

Thinking of adding it after Scratch 3.0.

1.3 comes out in October(estimate)
and 1.4 comes out in December(estimate).

1.3 Update

SkyOS 1.3 will be mainly a UI update due to Daniel 3. The Builds will just change textures.
I will try to add 1 app though.

SkyOS 1.4 Info!

It's here! New Info!

SkyOS 1.4 will be the first of 2 parts of a overhaul on SkyOS. (1.5 is the second part)

1.4 will add an app store while 1.5 will change the SkyOS engine.

1.4 will also change some app UIs.

I plan to merge the Info App with Settings(finally),
