The point of the stickies is so that people can have all their questions about the forum answered before posting a topic.

Unfortunately, stickies that are closed to avoid spam are
1. Turned grey
2. Stuck at the bottom of the stickies as the other stickies are posted on.

This leads to people not reading these stickies, thinking that they are recently closed topics. This can be seen in the Scratch 3.0 Beta forums, where many people (if they read the stickies before posting) post about the same topic over and over (hint: related to sound) because the FAQs are closed.

I think the stickies should be more noticeable in general, but yeah this would help

Support, I catch myself ignoring these stickies a lot so I can see the problem.

Honestly, I think all stickies should be a different color–I think people might just be mistaking them for regular topics. Maybe changing them to a red or teal would be better, or even just the little push-pin next to them.

OP, I do agree that it would be nice to have somthing changed/added, but do you have any spesific ideas do you have in mind for making them more noticable?

No Support. They're pretty noticeable to me.

Maybe make them the same color as normal stickies. I like the idea of all stickies having a different color because it makes them even more noticeable than an easily missed pin at the side of a topic, but I think that belongs in another topic.

But not noticeable to people new to the forums, as can be seen in the Scratch 3.0 Beta forums. The FAQs are often unnoticed, and even to me, when searching for them, I sometimes miss them.

I think they mean changing the colour of the push-pin.
