The Strange and Obscure Games On the App Store/Google Play Store

The App Store, good when you're trying to find a useful app, but not so useful when you're trying to find quality games to play in your spare time.

Most of the time these games have more ads then China has people. These games also tend to be low quality and are mostly rip-offs of other games.

And this topic is for examples of said games.

I saw a Pokemon bootleg app where they literally recolored Nate from Yokai Watch, I found that hilarious

I don't have pictures sadly, but I remember that some clipart of Dr. Wily and some random recolored Digimon and Pokemon were there as well

I've seen so many minecraft rip offs on google play throughout my youth. There's nothing wrong with giving your game a blocky 3D style but when it's a survival crafting game with a focus on mining and a name that's contains a combination of two survival/block based words, then you have no excuse.

My younger brother had a Minecraft knockoff called Survivalcraft when he was younger
Neither of us really understood it, but he kind of liked it, believe it or not.

Survivalcraft actually wasn't too bad.

I don't really think you can judge the quality of something that's copied/stolen most of its ideas and exists with the intention of fooling people. For example, if you handed in an essay that you mostly just copied off of a friend and tried to make look like your own how good it is doesn't matter since it's not your work, in fact, the only thing that would matter is that you plagiarised the work and you'd end up with a detention or something.

i found a game called “banana jelly rapper sound button”, and this is the description word for word : rapper banana jelly button to hear and play the banana jelly rap mustic. it's on google play store and to find it i searched parappa the rapper

The We Bare Bears bootleg kind of reminds me of this time when my mom showed me a picture of three stuffed bears my cousin put side-by-side that she said was supposed to represent the bears from We Bare Bears.
