There doesn't appear to be a minesweeper topic and I like minesweeper so…
I really like it and I think I'm somewhat good at it
My highscores are:
Beginner - 10 seconds
Intermediate - 50 seconds

I like Minesweeper! In my programming class from last spring, I had to program Minesweeper in Python. It was quite the challenge, but I got it working.

Yay! I’ve always wanted to attempt to make it, but I doubt I could I like Minesweeper! In my programming class from last spring, I had to program Minesweeper in Python. It was quite the challenge, but I got it working.
That’s really cool you could make one

Thanks! It ended up really cool, although there were some constraints that I didn't include, like a timer, a flagging mechanic, and on my computer, the tiles took a while to disappear.
I'm not entirely familiar with your work, but if you're at least moderately good at programming games, you could probably program Minesweeper, if only on Scratch.

I’m thinking I might attempt it as a side project, nothing I want to put all my focus towards but something to work on every now and then Thanks! I suck at Minesweeper, because I'm not good with numbers.

The highest number is 8 I think, it's not a math heavy game I suck at Minesweeper, because I'm not good with numbers.
It's more logic and I love it

I have a friend who plays Minesweeper by randomly clicking on tiles until she clicks a mine.
I think a lot of people do that. Minesweeper is a very fun puzzle, and a lot of people know about it, but not a lot of people know how to play.

What is Minesweeper? I've heard of it before, but that's all.

Essentially, you have a grid of tiles. Some of them have mines, which you clearly want to avoid, but you can't see which ones do or don't have mines. The goal is to click all the tiles that don't have mines in them.
When you click a tile, you'll see a bunch of numbers. Those numbers tell you how many mines are next to that square. For example, if you see a 2, you'll know that there are 2 tiles with mines next to that square (but not necessarily which two)!
I think playing and practicing the game is a little easier to understand once you know the rules at a basic level. You could look it up on Wikipedia, or probably even download a free version on your device (you definitely can if you have MacOS or an iPad).

It's really a game where “practice makes perfect”.
After playing for a while, you might think of some new strategies to use. Sometimes, you have to take your time and think slowly before clicking anything.
Of course, no strategy can prevent you from the inevitable time where you have to guess.

Good try, @Wahsp.
Although, there's a sneaky strategy to winning that board without guessing.
