has anyone ever played the game battletanx? well, i am making a similar game, with a storyline and level codes (in place of saving, since there are only 10 variables allowed). check here (http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/17509008) for the beginning of a storyline, and here (http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/17291022) for some basic gameplay. it will be better for the story version, but would it work. Check them out. any suggestions, ideas, or comments are welcome.

If you've looked at the current story beginning, do you have any suggestions?

Yeah so I had a look at the story and it was awesome.
So I think the mane thing is where the plauge comes from.

The government?
Rival gangs?
Some organisation?
To purify the planet from humans?

Also what about a plague firing tank… makes no sense but this is a game.

Oh yeah, does this plague effect other life? Just wondering.

1. I nope, it affects just people. And by the time the game begins, the plague has already run it's course and is on the decline. Those that are left are either strangely immune or just really lucky.
2. as to where the plauge came from, well that is kinda the point of the game- to find out. But Lets just say that it is a really good idea, and it is already planned… stay updated and you will find out

FINE. Here is my plan so far:
griffin is single man navy seal, plague hit everyone, he gets with bunch of men who are navy seals, chase down papers across the country with info about the disease
origins. people join on the way, and can build tanks with points. the disease is gov't made, to “prolong life”, complete failure. in end is gov't paper with the complete description of the disease, and the name of a gov't agency… prepare for a sequel with a teaser ending…

There you have it- the story-line of the entire game.

Ok, so i have taken the original and scrapped it. The game is still there, but i am doing no more on that game…

INSTEAD, i have found a new and better scrolling tank base which the author will let me use to make my campaign game.

What does this mean? UPDATED GRAPHICS AND GAME-PLAY! And it will have the same story and gameplay, but better controls and graphics…Yay

It has about as much as the other one had, game-wise, but it will be easier to use, and i will work better too… Just gotta get the AI to shoot at you…anyways, yay!
