I want to know how many accounts you can have on a server before you are at risk of getting an IP ban. I know if you make too many, it is possible to get banned. But how many is too many? I see users with 6-8 accounts, some for following, remixing, etc.
But also, another thing I am wondering on this topic, no offence, but how come a lot of users use some of the accounts they made for sockpuppeting? I know it's wrong to get around your ban/block.

Anyways, I don't believe that there's a limit to how many accounts you can have. If you're under 13, you have to use your parent's email address, but what if tons of kids under 13 would like to have their own Scratch account?

people do it to get a around a ban wrongly. Simple.

I don't think there is a limit to the amount of accounts, it's just what you do on them. (My friend has 8 accounts all are deleted except for one.) Anyways, if you use the other accounts just for remixing your own projects, loving/favoriting, and following your main account just to boost your stats, then that is not allowed. If you have a ton of other accounts and use them like you would for your main account, then that's fine.

I don't really think there's a limit… (I have at least 8 accounts, probably more that I've forgotten to consider ) However, free follow accounts or any other type of account that tries to manipulate site stats (like boosting a project's love or remix count) are against the rules.

Sockpuppeting's against the rules as well, and if they're caught, it would probably result in a longer ban.
