Kind of true, but the Wii just seemed to get way more than most other consoles. I think it's likely due to the fact that there's not really many Wii games that everyone likes outside of the Wii series itself, making the massive pile of “meh” stick out more. Plus it's a family console- people love to throw cheap stuff together to profit on kids and their lack of standards.

I really just don't like the frustrating Captain Events, the heavily emphasized NSMB style of most boards and minigames (even MP10 was slightly better in that department), and the removal of 2-vs.-2 minigames in favour of the largely inferior Bowser Jr. ones.

Although I do like it, the Smash Bros. series is a bit overhyped. Also, I like it for the gameplay, and not for the fact that it is a massive crossover, to the point where it is basically a meme. Had it stayed “Dragon King: The Fighting Game”, we wouldn't have these garbage “joke” requests roaming around the internet.
