Can’t "download to my computer"

If i try to download a project, it lets me select where I want to download it, but then the project doesn’t show up anywhere. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Thanks.

I had the same thing, but then I noticed that it was only showing “Scratch 1.4”-Projects, not “Scratch 2.0”-Projects. Maybe that is the problem=

Do you mean like try saving to another place on the computer? I have tried that, and the same thing happened

Thanks for replying

No, he means something else. It takes time to download things. I don't think they show up until they finish. And are you using Scratch 1.4? It doesn't show Scratch 2 projects and can't open them.

I have both 1.4 and 2 beta. But I’m not using either to search for the projects. Rather I am not seeing the project icons show up in the finder window. If I search for it, nothing comes up either.

Scratch 2 isn't in beta anymore.

WHERE are you saving? Are you SURE you're doing this:

File > Download to your computer > Save at Desktop > You should see it.

If not, you may need to WAIT before closing Scratch down or going back to the main website.

I did exactly what you said but nothing shows up after 5 minutes

You should be able to manually configure the location it downloads to in Safari though.

My browser / operating system: OS X 10.9, Firefox 26.0, Flash 11.7 (release 700)

What you need to change is the file extension from the drop-down menu.

Can’t "download to my computer"

I made a project using the downloaded scratch (VER: ScratchInstaller1.4.exe) THEN uploaded it onto the website to use on my other computer… But when I tried to download it back on my other computer it wouldn't load. The files dont save as; Scratch File They save as; SB2 File (or .sb2). To convert it I right clicked went to PROPERTIES then the little bit that says “open with” right of that you press the button that says “Change” then click on the Scratch Cat face. Done! {CoolKerlY xx!}
