Mr. Melon and Mr. Carrot
For those who don't know, Mr. Melon and Mr. Carrot are studios of people who remix featured projects and change them to involve either one of those. I think that this is disrespectful and kind of spamming.
This isn't really a question about Scratch, but i didn't know where to put it.

I think that this is disrespectful and kind of spamming.I only actually use Scratch for the forums 90% of the time and when I'm not doing that I tend to avoid the explore section and home page, so I've never seen either of these. Based on your description though, this seems like it shouldn't be much of a problem For those who don't know,

It's really not that much of a problem, but it's annoying and kind of rude to the makers of the original projects.

They change the projects in a transformative way, why is it rude?*snip

I guess it's that if you spend a lot of time on something for someone to basically just reskin it for a funny joke you'd probably be a bit annoyed, but it's not particularly a problem or anything that breaks the guidelines. They change the projects in a transformative way, why is it rude?

Yeah, I personally would not feel offended by it, but if it offends anyone, it still doesn't break Community Guidelines, which states that a remix with any kind of visible change, no matter how small, is valid.I guess it's that if you spend a lot of time on something for someone to basically just reskin it for a funny joke you'd probably be a bit annoyed, but it's not particularly a problem or anything that breaks the guidelines.
