My list of reasons why "Mapping" and "Polandball" should be banned.

While I was blocked, I realised the cause for all the nonsense leading up to it was some silly Polandball potato joke. This came from the “Mapping Community” which has a member who the joke was directed to. I thought I was doing a good deed by protecting the SMC from this person's enemy, but I was actually making it harder. The Mapping Community and Polandball can be offensive, and here is my list of reasons why I am in favour of this.

Let's start things off simple. Polandball can be funny, but a bit too offensive to the people of some countries, for example Poland itself.
Also, it utilises stereotypes for its expansion. I will change my profile picture now.
Mapping can be combined with this or equally offensive.
Many users have started conflict in the communities.
These are the reasons why mapping and Polandball should be banned, and warnable/bannable offenses.

Croatia refers to Serbiaball, not the Serbian nation.
2) What does that mean?
3) Combined with what? I think you should explain better your reasons, you should say who you're talking about instead of writing “this”.
Also, when two nations (ex. France and Italy) start fighting, there's nothing offensive. They just conquer some or the whole land of the nation.

I'm quire sure not all of Polandball is offensive; it could be used to more easily demonstrate historic events. Thus, the entirety of Polandball shouldn't be banned; additionally the offensive parts of it are already banned.

I don't even know what this is..

But judging from earlier replies, not all of it is offensive, so maybe we should just report the offensive stuff rather than banning it entirely.

Right - apparently this is an incident that has been going on for a while.

Please note that circles with flags on them and alternate realities of countries are not offensive, if I recall.

I don't do this mapping thing but I've seen YouTube videos of the subject before. I have no idea why it's causing issues on this site so I would appreciate some information about this.

No Support, why don't we ban “ban” threads since it seems that's all the suggestion forum is nowadays, it's borderline spam and that's already banned.

You saying polandball is offensive has just as much reason to it as me saying “I think Americans should be banned from Scratch since America killed British people to gain independence and I'm British!!!” (I don't believe this) or “We should ban all projects featuring the letter ”a“ because the letter ”a“ can be used in bad words!!!” (Neither do I believe this)

Do you see how neither of these reasons make any sense? If somethings offensive, report it. If somethings spam (like I believe these “ban” threads are) report it. If somethings worrying you, report it. The moment the ST starts banning everything that could be offensive is the moment literally no one will be able to do anything on Scratch.

Polandball, ey. I find it more funny than stereotypical, and is mostly not a violation of the community guidelines. It is more balls representing a nation with a flag on it, doing odd things.
Mapping, is also supposed to be more funny than stereotypical. If found many mapping channels on YouTube, and despite the crude language (which was not even in most original mapping I think), it is certainly fine. The wars are represented using a map, for most of the time, and it is just invading peoples' land, in a humorous way.
If it does have language and violence, report it. I think I made a clear point.
