"Unlisted" projects.

Sorry if this is a duplicate
YouTube has this feature where along with Public videos (equivalent to shared project on Scratch) and Private videos (equivalent to unshared project on Scratch), there is an Unlisted videos option (sort of equivalent to NFE project).

An unlisted “project” would be like YouTube, it is public, but it won't show up in Search or the front page (like a NFE project, but only selected by the Scratcher, and no, this is not a duplicate of the “allow scratchers to label project as NFE” suggestions). A difference to NFE projects is that it does not show up anywhere (other than studios), not just search and front page.

Pros:

Easy sharing of projects with friends and family
Allow for beta testing of a project

Cons:

Could be used for private messaging (Solution: make the filter bot on super safe mode which is a mode that only whitelisted words can be posted, have comments disabled by default and if someone has a long comment thread with only one person, give a message saying “Oh no! It looks like you may be using the Unlisted feature as private messaging tool! You have been muted for 5 hours.”)
Someone could share the link with everyone, ruining the feature.

Well phosphorus allows you to view unshared projects already, so it sort of can be done already, though that's with third party stuff. I'll have to say no support just because of less transparency on what people have shared with the public. Too much potential for people sharing inappropriate things with their friends.

No support, while you may have heavily moderated comments, someone could still put inappropriate stuff or messages in the project itself.

True, but you can do that with any project. For the message part there could be a bot that detects inappropriate phrases and words.
Plus as mentioned before this is already possible with Phosphorus and Sulfurous players.

Why should the comment section even be on for unlisted projects? Moderating them too much will make it hard to privately give feedback.

The ST would be busy with other reports to keep a constant eye on such a list, and the list may be too fast for them to keep up with. It's best to make everything public so that everyone in the community can be a moderator by finding and reporting. Additionally, unlisted projects can be edited after they are made unlisted.

Also, the same can be said for private messaging suggestions.

I would love this, but it could be used for private messages. Maybe have it so you can also see it in studios and on the projects page of the profile(go to the profile and click ‘see all’ on the projects). This would make it somewhat easier to moderate so that anybody can find them if the know how.
