Ever Since The Update, Scratch Wouldn't Launch, Please Help

Indeed, since the update, the offline version doesn't launch. The screen only flashes for a second and then vanishes…

Hi All,
I updated my Scratch and it doesn't work. When I start its just blink and shutdown!
Does any one have the same problem?

I investigate and can notice this error:

Scratch 2 <Error>: The function `CGContextErase' is obsolete and will be removed in an upcoming update. Unfortunately, this application, or a library it uses, is using this obsolete function, and is thereby contributing to an overall degradation of system performance.

What can I do to solve thir error?

My system is MAX OS X 10.9.2 and more recent Adobe Air.

Same issue as several others…newest update applied for offline version…just flashes briefly when launched then closes again. Uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled…same result.

I tried downloading the newest Scratch 2 offline editor. I opens for part of a second, then immediately closes. I have uninstalled the first offline editor, as well as a couple of new offline editor copies. I even tried downloading through 2 different browsers.

I am on a Windows 7 PC.

Any ideas on how to get Scratch 2 to work on Windows 7?

I notice too that Adobe Air has been updated and change its number version to 13.
I tried to re-install older version 3.8 and nothing works.

Please, save the Scratch it is the best!

hey scratch team i would love to have this fixed. It seems that not the edges of the screen are colored “black” because now whenever Im making a platformer, and I say ok let me make it so they jump on black platformers and can wall jump off of black walls, I can now wall jump off of the edge of the screen, and the edge of the screen acts likes a black wall. I have not tested this with any other colors but I know it is not my programming because I was designing it in scratch 1.4 after I had no success with scratch 2, and it worked fine, but when I shared it to the website it started glitching up again and I could wall jump off of the edge of the screen and I really want to share the platformer that I have made but I cannot due to the fact that I can jump off of walls. Please fix this it is frustrating because I have worked so hard on my project.
