This is Prefect42 asking which Hitchhiker books people like best and which characters they like.

I´ve only read the first and the second hitchhiker book, so i don´t know how good the other books are, but I think the first book is better. maybe because it´s most original and has most jokes. I like Arthur and Ford

Probably one of the first three or so. After that the narrative really wanders off into the woods. At least that's the way I remember it going.

Did you know that each adaptation takes the story in a different direction? They all start the same but then deliberately diverge.

Did you know that the plot of the 3rd book (life the Universe and everything) is taken from parts of discarded doctor who episode ideas

my least favorite is number four. idk what my favorite is, I would say 2
