ESC Key!!!!!
I need it and maybe other Scratchers will.
Great for games and can be used as a menu button thing.
Most important, BIOS's and UEFI's! (Im working on a oldschool BIOS)

Semi-support, I believe the “esc” key can trigger things in the actual computer though, such as exiting fullscreen mode.

Why not? Support, after all it can help when making, for example, OSs.

Support, we need more key pressed options and this could be very useful.

At least we have PAUSE STARTUP to do BIOS's and other things, like Network boots and running Diagnostics.
Most important, BIOS's and UEFI's! (Im working on a oldschool BIOS)
Anyways, let's get back on topic.

Support! Some people might use the ESC key in escaping games(seriously). Keys like the ESC key can be used for all kinds of things.

Yes, I even have a file that can crash this computer, but it might take a long time for it to crash.Im guessing you know about computers? At least we have PAUSE STARTUP to do BIOS's and other things, like Network boots and running Diagnostics.

I even explored the pause startup menu in a school computer, and I checked what everything does.
That's how I know about Pause Startup.

FNaF games, you need to press the ESC key to open up a menu or something, and it does'nt trigerr nothing in the actual computer, because is the only aplication that is allowed to do things with the keys. If you have a maximised window, and a small window, to make a small window access the keys, you just need to press that window. Samething with the maximedad windows. The full-screen window is always allowed to access the keys. (the game or app, not the OS)

You could just map it to another key. I don't see the problem here. What if you want to make a text editor? Then all character keys, arrow keys and enter have other uses. And other keys aren't supported by Scratch. You could just map it to another key. Edit: Still, we can't use the escape button, because that would be annoying for people in fullscreen having to press a button that will take them out of fullscreen. 3.3 Remove restrictions on Five Nights at Freddy's projects
You can read more about why these restrictions were placed on the post above. Because of the content in these games, the reputation of Scratch had been ruined at one point. The Scratch Team does not want to risk their reputation by removing these restrictions.
This suggestion extends to any project with jumpscares in them, even if they have warnings in them. After all, projects shared on the Scratch website should be for all ages, and young children may not understand what they are getting themselves into. However, you are free to use Five Nights at Freddy's characters in your project as long as the project follows the Community Guidelines (one example is a Five Nights at Freddy's dress-up game). Be sure to report any project that does not follow the Community Guidelines, especially if it contains jumpscares or scary images.
