Playing scratch games.. Without scratch
Scratch is awesome, don't get me wrong but.. Correct me if I'm wrong but you can only play a scratch game if:
What I'm thinking is being able to play scratch games without this. So I could upload a scratch game online for people to download, when they download this file and open it, instead of opening scratch etc, it straight away opens up the game on full screen. It would. Be brilliant. Atleest I think. I've made a small edit here of what it might look like (ive done a 2 Minute merge of 2 images from Google, so ignore the ‘software update’ stuff:

- You are on scratch website
You have scratch downloaded
It's embedded on a website

I'm pretty sure that procd made a Scratch project compiler that converts your .sb2 projects to .exe files (if you're on Windows) Scratch is awesome, don't get me wrong but.. Correct me if I'm wrong but you can only play a scratch game if:

If you're not on Windows, you can make simple webpages using html and then embed a Phosphorus player, which lets you play your projects on tablets if the webpage is hosted online.

Use the offline editor. Easy.
However a self contained offline player might be nice.

thisThis is old. And since there were no posts since 2015, it was probably done and fixed already and they probably wont respond to this… Use
But anyways, since you cant necropost in the suggestions forum, no support. You can use phosphorus which is in the quote I quoted.

You can convert it to HTML using Scratch is awesome, don't get me wrong but.. Correct me if I'm wrong but you can only play a scratch game if:https://sheeptester.github.io/htmlifier/ and install Microsoft Visual Basics 2010 to convert the HTML to an application file and there you go!

I know this was a topic from 2015 that was necroposted on somehow, but for future reference: no.
2.5 Official Scratch to EXE converter
On Scratch, an important goal is to have anyone be able to look at the code for any project. This philosophy is not only important for learning code and remixing, but is also important for moderation purposes; for more information, see #3.2 and #4.1 on this list. Converting to EXE (or any other black box executables) will prevent users from looking at the code, and hence goes against this philosophy. Third party converters do exist, and you are allowed to use those, but the Scratch Team will not make an official converter.

Based on my very limited knowledge of how computers work, I could be convinced that this is the same thing. Closed as rejected. I know this was a topic from 2015 that was necroposted on somehow, but for future reference: no.2.5 Official Scratch to EXE converter
