On Scratch there are limited categories. New projects, Studios you curate, etc. But let's say you want to suggest projects you want people to start with on your profile, or your funniest projects. You just can't do that. This is because Scratch doesn't allow that on profiles. That is why I'm suggesting this. It would work really well.

Yes. As Scratch has put some categories of some studios you curate and follow, it should be done with your option as well.

What is the limit for the number of categories you can add?
I actually don't have a good idea. I think 4 for projects and 2 for studios.

Um, probably not. It think it will just be focusing on friends and the like. Maybe make a project about them or a studio. No to mention Scratchers can add who to hate profiles list, because admit it. We all have enemies.

What would happen to stop spam?
I think the bad word detector should work on the titles of these categories. And some report option.

Yes, you can. But your profile will be the first thing everyone will see. So if you want to spread the word on your profile, you could. Also your allowed to add studios to the category.

Well surely we have some time. But not many people are saying they want it. Only us 3 so it seems unlikely to happen.

No it's something else that allows you to put categories on your profiles with projects and studios other from the ones Scratch puts (like Projects, Studios I Curate, etc.)

Sounds like a decent idea. The only thing I can see becoming an issue is spam/inappropriate categories, but hopefully there should be something to control that.
It could be very useful for separating projects by group - for instance, if someone is making a series and wants to showcase the projects in that series. Though, you can do that with studios.. so I think a better idea would be “studios I'm showcasing”?
