Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee!

Pokémon Let's Go Eevee and Let's go are the next main series Pokémon Games for the franchise launching November 16th 2018 for the Nintendo Switch!

Here's what we know so far:

Returning to the Kanto region
Riding Pokémon returns
Pokémon following you returns
Pokémon Go is now comparable with the game. Pokémon can be sent to and from Let's Go and Go.
The capture system has been changed to be similar as the one in Go.
A new feature similar to HGSS' Pokéwalker called the Pokéball Plus exists allowing you to take your Pokémon on the go.
Pokémon appear in the overworld

On the contrary

Pikachu is a more recognisable icon, causing his game to be one which will be bought by most people due to how familiar they are with him

Mothers be like, “Oh! Johnny can now play as his favourite Pokémon! I'll get him that for Christmas!!” when in reality Johnny knows full well that Eevee is much cooler and has a millinillion more evolutions, but of course his parents don't know who he is because they immediately think Pokémon when they see yellow man

The new capture system doesn't look too intrusive, so I have hopes for this game.

I am pleased that Pokémon is GOing to the switch. I think it will be a perfect addition to my library of games.

honestly if you can put pokemon go pokemon in the game and catch em, I think it would be possible to catch gen 2 and gen 3 in it.
