The new game has been announced!
It's called Trap Team. There are certain characters that come with special crystals, which can be used to “trap” villains after they're defeated.
Once you trap a villain, you can switch and PLAY AS THEM at any time!
Some old villains are back, like the Chompy Mage, but I hear there'll be some new ones, too.
Each villain is elementally oriented and can only be captured by a crystal of that element.
The game will come out on October 5, 2014.

Any thoughts?

I can just imagine myself playing as a drow spearman ……10 years later….HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE??!!! *trap team starter pack falls on my head*

He reminded me more of a vegetarian Trigger Happy.
His color scheme is quite similar to Zook's, though.

My best (and favorite!) Skylanders I have are Drobot and Cynder! I just got Blizzard Chill, I can't wait to get the narwhal upgrade!!

That guy was going to be the Undead Giant! But they scrapped the design.
